How to help the Comité du cœur?

Thanks to your donations and memberships, the Comité du cœur has been helping creators in difficulty and, by extension, the creative world as a whole, for 70 years already. There are a number of ways in which you can help the Comité du cœur. And, as the Comité du cœur is a registered charity, your solidarity is rewarded, in particular through tax deductions.

For over 70 years, the Comité du cœur has been supporting songwriters and composers through good and bad times.

For over 70 years, the Comité du cœur has been supporting creators in need and, by extension, creation as a whole.

For over 70 years, the Comité du cœur has been able to continue its mutual aid and solidarity work thanks to the commitment of the entire community of Sacem artists, from one generation to the next.

Today, like so many before you — Maurice Chevalier, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Alain Chamfort — you have decided to join us in defending the cause of creators, and for that we are grateful.

There are two ways to keep up the solidarity momentum launched by our elders: make one-off or regular donations and/or invite your friends and colleagues to join in this beautiful solidarity journey.

Make a one-off or a regular donation

If we can deliver concrete results on a daily basis, it is only thanks to your donations. Any donation made to the Comité du cœur is eligible for a tax credit of 66% of the amount. In practical terms, a donation of 100 euros will only cost you 34 euros.

In these difficult times, your donations are more essential than ever in enabling us to support creators in need.

Join the association, a very small fee after tax credit

Participating in the Comité du cœur’s chain of solidarity means also, quite simply, to spread the word and invite your friends and colleagues to join. All Sacem creators, whether professional or definitive members, can support the Comité du cœur by requesting to join the association.

Each year, its members contribute 0.5% of their royalties to the association’s work. In other words, for every €1,000 in royalties over the course of a year, €5 goes to the Comité du cœur, representing €1.70 after tax credit.

The more we are, the better we will be able to carry and spread this message of solidarity within Sacem and beyond.

And to keep up to date with all our activities and news, you can share our newsletter or follow the association’s LinkedIn page — so many great ways to be part of this solidarity adventure!

It is not much, but it can mean a lot!
