Son/Ré
The Son/Ré association is dedicated to protecting the legacy of composer Pierre Henry, who passed away on July 5, 2017.
Pierre Henry left behind a prolific, innovative, influential and versatile work, as well as a musical and artistic Fund covering 72 years of creativity.
Since 2017, the Son/Ré team has been classifying, cataloguing and digitising more than 15,000 audio and paper supports, so that they can be added to the musical fund dedicated to Pierre Henry at the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF – French national library)
Alongside this heritage mission, Son/Ré is committed to promoting, distributing, and showcasing Pierre Henry’s works. This includes reaching out to researchers and music professionals, as well as the public, through virtual exhibitions, concerts and shows throughout France (featuring DJs such as EriKm, Molecule and NSDOS, among other artists), and the publication and re-release of albums and books…

“The support we receive from the Comité du cœur to protect, perpetuate and promote Pierre Henry’s work is invaluable and most welcome in these difficult times.
This support, while contributing to the substantial work carried out by our association to catalogue and promote this exceptional repertoire, reflects the spirit of solidarity that exists within our musical creation professions.
We are very pleased and grateful to the Comité du cœur board of directors and its president for choosing to support our association as part of the cultural activities developed by the Comité.”– Gérard Davoust,
president of Son/Ré
