premiers travaux de composition puis au CNSM de Paris aupr\u00e8s de Betsy Jolas, Yves G\u00e9rard, Alain Bernaud, Pierre Schaeffer, Guy Reibel et Laurent Cuniot. Conseiller de programme \u00e0 l\u2019Orchestre National de France de 1982 \u00e0 1992, il travaille parall\u00e8lement dans les studios de l\u2019INA-GRM et dans des studios d\u2019enregistrement, s\u2019int\u00e9ressant au potentiel musical des nouveaux instruments et aux transformations \u00e9lectroacoustiques et num\u00e9riques du son. Il \u00e9prouve rapidement la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de pouvoir jouer de ces sonorit\u00e9s nouvelles sur sc\u00e8ne en les associant aux instruments classiques, il participe \u00e0 des musiques pour le th\u00e9\u00e2tre ou le ballet et collabore r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement avec les ensembles parisiens d\u00e9di\u00e9s aux musiques des XX et XXI<sup class=\"ordinal\">\u00e8me<\/sup> si\u00e8cles. Il compose des pi\u00e8ces \u00e9lectroacoustiques ( Les \u00e9cherons d\u2019Allerey ), mixtes ( sextuor ) et instrumentales, du solo \u00e0 l\u2019orchestre symphonique ( Ciel A\u00eether, Les rives de S\u00e9l\u00e8ne, Sillages, La mesure des Parques, La marque des \u00e9pures ). Il explore, dans ses premi\u00e8res \u0153uvres, la microtonalit\u00e9 et d\u00e9veloppe un monde musical se r\u00e9f\u00e9rant \u00e0 des environnements sonores naturels ou urbains avant de se diriger vers une musique plus abstraite.
